Suhr gets its debut!

I bought this beautiful Suhr Standard Plus in August 2021 and it’s taken me until now to gig it. I have feared taking it to a gig of mine and dropping, misplacing or breaking this perfect axe. You don’t want to buy your dream guitar only to ding it months into ownership…

But equally, what’s the point in buying a pro-grade instrument as a pro and not using it for pro gigs? Not much…

Thus, this weekend I gigged it twice; first in the Lake District, second in Cheltenham. My goodness did it sound good. The HSS pickup configuration allows me to set gorgeous single coil strat sounds and double them up with soaring humbucker tones that compliment each other perfectly. It achieves what two guitars would normally. The ultimate gigging machine. Not to mention that it looks very sexy under the lights.
